About Christine
My Story
When my son, Steven was in 2nd grade he was diagnosed with Dyslexia. When he entered 3rd grade his teacher taught using the Wilson Reading System®. From then on Steven flourished. It was not quick fix but Steven is now going to High School as a straight A student reading on grade level. He is a graduate of the WRS.
We were amazed by our son's progress and watched him become successful in school. I was so impressed that I decided to explore the Level 1 Certification myself. I quickly realized that there was a huge need for Dyslexia Intervention in our new state of Florida. While I was still teaching in a public school I started working with a few students. The need was so great that was able to resign from my position as an ESE teacher and Lake Hill Reading Group was born.

The last few months Christine has been working with my son who has ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and auditory precessing. We have noticed vast improvements in his reading. We love her like family. He is very patient with him and he loved to work with her.

My daughter Keira has Dyslexia. She has been held back twice and has struggled with reading since she started grade school. Last year we were lucky enough to find Christine from Lake Hill Reading Group and, because of her, Keira has moved up one whole grade level. She is reading better than ever before and we have seen a boost in her confidence level. Keira loves Ms. Christine and looks forward to her tutoring sessions. She makes it fun and allows her to be heard and understood, plus she teaches in a way that Keira comprehends. I honestly feel like she has become part of our family and we all adore her. I can't sing her praises enough. She has been a Godsend for my Keira, and I highly recommend her to anyone who has children that struggle with reading.
